Customer Services – Part Time (Maternity Cover)
Your daily tasks will be in one of the following operational area
·Checking passengers in using the iPort Check-in system
·Taking care of people with special requirements, and unaccompanied children
·Assisting customers with all enquiries, which may be by telephone or in person and attending to the passengers needs
·Clerical duties, reservations and ticketing using the World Ticket system
·Assisting passengers with mishandled checked bags i.e. lost, damaged, pilfered or bags that arrive at an airport in error.
·Invoicing private flights for landing and handling fees
·Light cleaning duties or customer services areas including the maintaining of the ladies toilet facilities
·Assisting customers with all enquiries at the security screening point
·Checking or boarding cards and photo ID
·Screening of female passengers including hand searching
·Screening passenger baggage
Working hours and conditions
Maternity contract up to October 09th - Waterford Airport operates seven days per week and rosters for this position are based on airline flight schedules. Applicant must be available to work shifts including split shifts, weekends and Public holidays. Applicant must be able to extend shift to cover delayed or altered flights. Average of 12 hours per week with additional hours rostered for holiday cover.
·Previous experience in the Aviation industry an advantage

·Good general education, including Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) - Pass in English and Mathematics
